I suppose it could be seen as ironic that a service that more than encourages—enforces—brevity has had so much verbiage generated around it. But that’s not going to stop me adding my two-penn’orth.

I’m very happy that my two pieces of twitfic will roll up on Thaumatrope sometime before the end of the year. Equally, I’m happy about the several pieces of twitfic that have been rejected elsewhere. Yup. Happy. With rejections.
Each time I’ve had work turned down I’ve received a polite, encouraging email whose length has rivalled, possibly overtopped, the length of any single submission. So, thank you Outshine and Nanoism for sending more words back to me than I sent to you! Of course, it means I’ll send you more attempts.
